ECMAScript 6 is the next version of the JavaScript language standard. It is currently in development and will be finished by the end of 2013. This talk gives an overview of ECMAScript 6, which offers many exciting new features. For example: block-scoped variable declarations, an improved version of the for-in loop, classes and modules. Parts of ECMAScript 6 can already be experimented with in current browsers.
