Cobbler is a Linux installation server that allows for rapid, scaleable installation. It automates many common Linux setup tasks so that you can perform many tasks from a centralized service. Additionally, it proves to be quite useful for testbed environments because it can provide DHCP, DNS, NAT, package repository mirroring, and simplified reinstallation of virtual machines. With Cobbler, you can automate testing in order to evaluate your applications a clean environment where you can control all variables.
